Psychotherapy
ψυχή θεραπεία
Derived from the Ancient Greek words ‘psyche’ (soul; spirit; breath), and ‘therapeia’ (care; healing; treatment), Psychotherapy is 'the care of the soul'.
About me
I’m an integrative psychotherapist who works from the conviction that real change occurs within the bounds of a focused, consistent, sincere relationship. In my practice, I attend carefully to what is spoken and unspoken, to story and narrative, theme and symbolism, unconscious material, as well as to the emotional life that emerges between us. I firmly believe that each person is a singular world of experience and that the therapeutic frame is the perfect laboratory for exploring that world. I use an integrative approach consisting of a combination of psychologically informed modalities that include Psychoanalysis, Person-centred theory, Family Systems Theory, Gestalt, and Existential orientations.
